ILC Mentoring Program

Colleagues are a wonderful thing – but mentors, that’s where the real work gets done.
– Junot Diaz

The CIRAS/Iowa Lean Consortium Mentoring Program is a service provided to ILC members. We serve to help connect mentees and mentors. The Mentoring Program is designed to enhance the professional experience and development of both mentors and mentees.

Thanks to our own PDCA, we have simplified the process. Mentees will now search the Mentor database and contact a potential Mentor directly to inquire about the possibility of working together. We only ask that either the Mentor or Mentee let us know when they have decided to form a mentoring partnership.

We are seeking Mentors for this program! Click the button below to sign up to join as a Mentor. Here is a great article about the ways that mentoring builds leadership skills – you don’t have to have all the answers to be a mentor! Here is a Mentoring Blueprint offered by our 2020 Annual Conference Keynote Speaker, Colonel Candice Frost.

We recommend you listen to our two podcasts episodes that feature members who have participated in the ILC Mentoring Program.
