How long is my/our membership valid?
Memberships are based on the calendar year, January – December. We send renewal notices each November, and renewals are due by January 15.
I am a member. Can I bring a guest to an event?
Yes, members may bring a guest two times per calendar year. If it is a free event for members, we ask that you pay $10 to cover the cost of breakfast and materials for a ½ day event and $15 for the cost of breakfast, lunch, and materials for a full day event. If it is a paid event for members, your guest will be charged the member rate for the event. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org before registering your guest for an event.
I need to cancel my registration for an upcoming event. What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel your registration within seven business days or more of the date of the event, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your registration less than seven business days prior to the date of the event you will forfeit your registration fee if it is a paid event. Organizational members may send someone from their organization in their place, but individual memberships are non-transferable. To cancel, please send an email to email@example.com
What are the advantages of an Organizational vs. Individual membership?
When an organization joins the ILC, ALL employees of that organization become members and can take advantage of member benefits. The ILC believes that when the entire organization is involved you can go further faster in creating a culture of continuous improvement.
Our organization has employees in other states. How do I determine my organization’s size when considering membership in the ILC?
Please count the number of employees who reside in Iowa and work for your organization or the total number of employees in the state in which your organization is located.
