For the time being, we have decided to cancel, postpone, or move online all CIRAS in-person events. Webinars will continue as planned. Details: CIRAS will be hosting a Digital Manufacturing Lab tour. We will be showcasing 3D printers, 3D scanners, Cobots. The first 30 mins will be the general introduction to the lab wherein you will learn about how the digital lab can support you on your Industry 4.0 journey. Following which we will have three parallel breakout sessions on 3D printers, scanners, and cobots. In these breakout sessions, you will get a high-level overview of ?technology pros/cons, technology costs, common applications, some case studies, and a call to action. This tour can be attended by anyone associated with manufacturing. No prior knowledge or training is required.

Grippers and Robots

Details: This webinar will review the technical features of several grippers for cobots (Robotic, PHD, Schunk) by RAMCO, such as payload capacity, compatibility, installation types, 3D printed tips, quick-change feature, etc. This webinar will include examples of typical types of grippers. All attendees will get a high-level understanding of the common type of grippers and get access to a qualified technology partner (RAMCO).
