Bio
Brian has spent more than 10 years at Iowa State University managing collaborative research projects between Iowa companies and faculty and staff. He has negotiated sponsored research agreements, NDAs, and MTAs, and previously worked as a chemist at Kemin, Novartis, and Purac, as well as in Product Management at Streck Labs in Omaha.
In his current role at CIRAS, Brian manages engagements between Iowa companies and university faculty. He helps companies identify technical expertise, develop strong project concepts, and oversee project execution. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), he leverages structured project management practices to ensure successful outcomes for all stakeholders.
