Do you want to be part of an exciting, creative team that works to improve and strengthen the Iowa Lean Consortium? The Advisory Board has established two teams to further the mission and goals of the ILC and to broaden participation from our membership. The ILC Board is seeking volunteers. Qualified and interested members are encouraged to nominate themselves for any team.
The events team is looking for members to assist with the planning the training offerings of the ILC each year. Functions of this team will be to determine suitable topics and facilitators. This team meets approximately 2-3 times per year either by phone or in person.
The ILC membership team is focused on sustainability of current members and growing the ILC through new member recruitment. This team works to identify current member needs and to help members understand their membership benefits. The team assists in identifying potential new members and in making others aware of the ILC and all it has offer.
Teams will plan at least one (maybe two) face-to-face or virtual meetings and then meet periodically via conference call to check in.This is a chance for interested parties to help fulfill the ILC mission of offering a diverse network to share innovative practices (ensuring sustainable competitive advantage in Iowa) and to fulfill the ILC Vision of a member-driven consortium.
