What are compliance audits?

A compliance audit is an audit of a quality management system against the ISO 9001:2000 standard by CIRAS.  Since CIRAS is not a registrar, we cannot provide certification to the ISO 9001:2000 standard.  CIRAS can audit your company’s quality system against the ISO 9001:2000 standard to determine compliance.

What are the benefits of compliance audits?

A designation of compliance to the ISO 9001 standard will signify to your customers and suppliers that your company is using and maintaining a quality system in conformance to the ISO 9001 standard.  A compliance audit will provide assurance to your company that the quality system conforms to planned arrangements and is effectively implemented and maintained.  Compliance audits are a way to get your supplier base to conform to a quality system without the expense of certification.
