As CIRAS economic development program manager, Mark Reinig helps devise strategies to strengthen entrepreneurship and technology transfer for the benefit of Iowa businesses and communities. Following the devastating floods of 2008, he was appointed to Governor Chet Culver's Rebuild Iowa's Economic Development and Workforce Task Force. He also has taken part in economic development projects in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Prior to joining CIRAS, Mark was the economic development coordinator for the City of Ames, Iowa. Before that he served as director of franchise development for Breadeaux Pisa, Inc. Mark received his B.A. degree in business administration from Iowa State University.
