Biobased Products EducationB.S., Industrial Science, Truman State University, 1993 ExperienceSteve is an industrial specialist coordinating the USDA Biobased Product Certification initiative. Prior to joining CIRAS, he worked as a product designer at John Deere Des Moines Works. He is currently pursuing a graduate degree at ISU in Industrial Technology. His other areas of interest are agriculture product development, product analysis and testing, OSHA compliance management, and constructions management. |

The Center for Industrial Research and Service (CIRAS) improves the quality of life in Iowa by enhancing the performance of industry through research, education and technology-based services. Assistance to companies is provided in partnership with Iowa's universities, community colleges and government agencies. Services are supported in part by the DoC/NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership, the DoD/DLA Procurement Technical Assistance Program, and the DoC/EDA University Center Program.
